Stephanie will be addressing the amassed throng in the Lindley Hall from 2.00pm to 3.30pm. After her talk Stephanie will be happy to sign copies of her latest best-selling book. Throughout the day we'll be offering a range of small workshops and talks from designers and knitters. Informal get-togethers with designers and teachers to pick up some new techniques or learn a trick or two. Already confirmed, Jane Sowerby (Victorian Lace Today) Helene Magnusson (Icelandic Rose Patterns) and Sasha Kagan (Crochet Inspiration)....see the line-up here |
Throughout the day there'll be a number of informal fashion parades on the main stage, including a sneak preview of the forthcoming republished classic A Stitch in Time, a Maggiknits special from designer Maggie Jackson and an exclusive preview of garments from the new Erika Knight collection Men's Knits... |
Our marketplace will be the place to spend some of that hard-earned cash on a little bit more of what you fancy; yarns, needles, accessories, books and more from some well-known and not-so-well known names in knitting. As always I Knit will be encouraging independent yarn producers and small businesses to take part alongside the big boys...click here for our current line-up |
Yarny art projects and displays from designers, artists and the like will adorn the hall. If you are one such yarny artist and would like to discuss being part of the show please contact us at the email address at the foot of this page... |
Djs, drinking and perhaps some dancing...a large area will be given over to the I Knit Lounge once again this year. Have a seat, get yourself a drink, some cake and knit back and relax for the afternoon. A roster of entertainment is being put together for your delight and delectation... |
We listened to feedback from last year's show and...yes, there will be cake and chocolate too! Plus much more in the on site café, catering for all the hungry knitters with sarnies and hot meals... |
Visit our I Knit Day page 2 for the current line-up, which will be updated and expanded as more participants are confirmed. |
